Dr. Inger Burnett-Zeigler is a clinical psychologist and assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She will give us important insights about the barriers to hope that exist for children who live in distressed neighborhoods.

Ms. Norington-Reaves is the founding Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership. During her tenure as CEO, The Partnership has raised more than $40 million in diverse funds to ensure that "every person has the skills to build a career and every business has the talent it needs to compete in a global economy.” At the gala, Ms. Norington-Reaves will outline what we must to do prepare our children (and ourselves) to meet the workforce needs of the New Economy.
